Facebook and Pinterest Both Provide $2 Revenue Per Visitor

A new study, recently released by RichRelevance shows that the average revenue from Facebook and Pinterest is currently averaging about $2 per visit!

Not bad!

This study shows that while most of the traffic is actually coming from Facebook, both Facebook and Pinterest are delivering very nice dollar per visitor conversion rates!

Here’s a video that walks through the results of the study

By the way – this is the third set of statistics we’ve gotten on this topic in the last couple of weeks, each with different results, but all three showing that Facebook and Pinterest are both killing it in the marketplace.

Key lessons:

  1. If you think social media’s not making anyone any money, think again!
  2. While Facebook is driving more traffic, Pinterest is about equal to Facebook in value per visitor, showing that you really need to be on Pinterest too!
