You don’t want to be left behind just because you thought Facebook, You Tube, or LinkedIn wouldn’t last. These sites and others like them can be extremely helpful in getting and keeping your business successful. If you don’t already know about some of these sites, it would be wise to learn how they can help your business. And if you do know about them but know you haven’t been using them to their potential, it’s time to get going on them.
Who doesn’t want their business to make more money? I know you do or you wouldn’t be one of my faithful readers.
You know that the majority of your customers are using these sites and are probably wondering why you aren’t using them. Used properly, I know from personal experience that social media makes it easier and more convenient for your customers to do business with you. Learn about as many as these social media sites as possible and discover how they can help grow your business.
Here are a few of my favorite tips to get you started:
QR Codes: Put them on T-shirts, Price Tags, Business Cards, Website (footer or Contact page), instruction sheets, invoices, order forms, print ads, campaign signs, For Sale signs, your Luggage, teaser postcard and more…
YouTube: Did you know you can add Subtitle text to your videos with closed captioning. This will keep people on your visitors longer, increase probability that they will heed your Call to Action (CTA), assist those with disabilities…
Twitter: No one likes to get Unfollowed on Twitter. A few etiquette rules: Don’t be Crazy! Don’t Offend. Don’t Overshare. Don’t be a Robot…
Facebook: If your friends, customers or unhappy ex-employees tag you in inappropriate pics, you can remove your tags by following these directions.
Make it a goal to learn one or two new pieces of information every day! You’ll be surprised how quickly you ramp up your profits from social media.
And, of course…
Just Go Do This Stuff!
