Did you know that there’s a huge difference between a sales funnel and a marketing funnel?
Most people don’t – to their detriment.
If you ever want to make serious money online (and off) you need to clearly think through and design a marketing funnel that identifies every step in your customer relationship, from initial lead generation and capture, to your first communications with them, to your first selling attempt, subsequent upsells and downsells, what you’re going to sell them after that whether they buy or don’t buy, and how you are going to turn them into a customer for life.
This takes some mind shifts and thought.
That’s why I invited Todd Brown, one of the world experts on designing and executing marketing funnels to teach us about this process. Here’s a recording of that presentation:
If you already understand the importance of having a funnel, jump about 30 minutes in, otherwise, watch the whole thing.
As you watch it, I invite you to take notes, and to pay particular attention when he starts talking about:
1. The difference between a sales funnel and a marketing funnel
2. The ideal business
3. The huge fallacy in the current process of sending emails that drive people through a series of product launch videos and how to fix that to get significantly better results!
